Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.
Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
2 Corinthians 4:1-2
Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
1 Thessalonians 4:11-12
And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business,
and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
12 That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.
Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.
The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him
A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.
A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.
Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.
And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: 4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.
These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
17 He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit. 18 There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.
19 The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.
